Hawaii’s 50th Anniversary

As we near the end of 2009 – this year marked the 50th Anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th State. On August 21, 1959, President Eisenhower signed the proclamation to make Hawaii the 50th State. Hawaii celebrated with many different events.
